Hello, my name is Justine and I facilitate a weekly class exploring the art of Decluttering.

** A new 8 week session starts on May 8, 2024 **

Each week we focus on a theme or topic of the decluttering process. My approach is to combine this with mindfulness practices, group discussion, group processes and inner reflection. It is a safe space to learn, share, listen and ask questions. Often people feel a sense of relief to hear others who share similar challenges with clutter and are wanting to create a more joyful life. The energy of joy and ritual is a big part of the experience and the journey.

The classes are designed so that new people or returning members can easily join right in at any stage.

The task of decluttering can be FUN, energizing and LIFE-CHANGING. I hope you feel inspired to join us for a class.

Sincerely, Justine

Class and Meditation Recordings

Meditation for Creating a Vision of Home

A guided meditation to help create a vision of your ideal inner home. Identify how your sacred space might feel, free of all clutter and baggage.

Sacred Home in the Heart Meditation

Utilizing nature as inspiration this meditation leads you into a visualization of the sacred home in your heart. Use as a relaxation meditation or to assist the creating of a vision of your decluttered home before embarking on decluttering with mindfulness.

Instructions for Concretizing Your Vision

These instructions can be used as an additional step following the recorded meditations of Creating a Vision of Home or Sacred Home in The Heart or your own intuited vision of your decluttered home and life. Creating a vision of what your decluttered life will feel like, the qualities, is the very first step in Decluttering with Mindfulness. Being clear about what you are creating and why you are doing this, establishes your intention and is invaluable to your decluttering festival.

Supplemental Material

The Story of Stuff

The Story of Stuff is a 20-minute, fast-paced, fact-filled look at the underside of our production and consumption patterns. Join Annie Leonard as she reveals connections between many environmental and social issues, and calls us together to create a more sustainable and just world.

The Economics of Happiness

The Economics of Happiness describes a world moving simultaneously in two opposing directions. On the one hand, government and big business continue to promote globalization and the consolidation of corporate power. At the same time, people around the world are resisting those policies – and, far from the old institutions of power, they’re starting to forge a very different future. Communities are coming together to re-build more human-scale, ecological economies based on a new paradigm – an economics of localization.
